New Microloan Program from Dubois Strong – Limited-Time Opportunity

Dubois Strong is launching a new Micro-Loan program with support from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Business Development Grant, offering a limited number of small business loans up to $5,000 at a fixed interest rate. This program is part of the larger Enterprise Loan Fund, managed by Dubois Strong, that offers competitive rate loans to small businesses in order to create or retain jobs.

One of the primary goals of this initiative is to offer flexible capital to small businesses in Dubois County, targeting low-cost upgrades with maximum impact. Loan funds can be used for supplies, working capital, inventory, marketing, payroll supplement, renovations, and much more!

“Our Enterprise Loan Fund has historically been a huge success, infusing capital into small businesses to give them the boost they need to continue operations” said Colten Pipenger, Executive Director of Dubois Strong, “The Micro-Loan program is an exciting step for our community and our organizations to allow entrepreneurs and business owners to take advantage of low cost upgrades that we hope will have a large return on investment for our small businesses. With this initiative, we continue our mission to empower and support Dubois County’s entrepreneurs and business owners for long-term success.”

The Enterprise Loan Fund and Micro Loan Fund are both continuously reinvested into the community to sustain and support the program. To date, the fund has loaned approximately $765,000 through 25 loans with an additional 13 ‘Covid Emergency Loans’.
